FeedMailPro: It’s Simple, It Works.

There are a number of way to get subscribers and to send them emails. A newsletter plugin, like mine, helps to collect subscribers and freely compose emails. Others, like feedburner, bring your feed and create an automated newsletter from the feed content.  Aweber is one of that.

Now there is someone who were an Aweber user and find it inadequate. So he started a news service, FeedMailPro (aff). FeedMailPro eat your feeds and send an excerpt of your latest post to subscribers. Subscribers are easy to collect inserting a simple form in your blog, as you probably have done with feedburner or aweber.

FeedMailPro (aff) is really easy to use: you can sign up with open id (eg. with your gmail account), add one or more feed (a WordPress feed URL is something like http://www.yourname.com/feed) and then you can add subscribers. As said, users can self subscribe using a simple form to be added (maybe with a text widget) on your blog.

Do you need to make tests? A simple test button is available to send a real world email with the latest content of one of the configured feeds.

Then you can go deep in the tool and configure you email. Would you use the default template, or edit your? Would you auto send or do it manually? Here a screen shoot:

To compose the email by your self you need to unserstand a little of html, but is relatively easy. If you want you can pay me to adapt an email template to FeedMailPro ;-) .

Why it can be considered better than FeedBurner? Simple, localization. I’m italian and I need to communicate in italian with my readers. I cannot send a confirmation email in english, many cannot understand it as a good email and throw it in the trash can. FeedMailPro (aff) is fully customizable… and if you work in english, is ready to be used.

My excuses for my bad english but it's the only way I have to communicate with you. Would you suggest a correction? Leave a comment, thank you!
