Below there is a dowload link for Newsletter 2.0.0 beta 1.
This version MUST NOT be used by members who have installed the Newsletter Extras package, be aware!
Newsletter 2.0 has been almost completely rewritten. The is support for list, there is some redesign of the admin panels, the subscribers can change their subscription details (useful only with lists enabled via the {profile_url} to be added on outgoing newsletter).
If you decide to try that version, be sure to have a full backup of your database to roll back if needed.

Thanks for the release – the 2.0.0 version DID have an SMTP error. I was using gmail (I have google apps for my email) and I used the smtp.gmail.com along with port 465 and it never sent any emails.
Look forward to trying this release. Thank you for your hard work on a great plugin! It’s the only one of it’s kind!
Great to see further development! I cannot wait for newsletter 2.0 to come out. I will definately switch to newsletter pro, whenever it is ready…
