I like you newsletter plugin a lot and i am going to use this in my site. However, i have 2 question for this plugin:
1) Does this support multi language? If yes then please let me know how.
2) Can i add more fields from WP admin in subscription form? currently only name & email are displayed in this area.

hi, thank you for your plugin – I use it for a long time. It’s the version 1.5.6.
since some weeks it ignores the “old” adress.
The 325 adresses, that signed in the last years can be seen in the subscribers list. When I send a newsletter, it says “ok” after every address, but nobody gets the newsletter. I signed in for two testaccounts. These two receive the newsletter.
I’m desperate!

I have just upgraded to version 2.5 and the widgets for capturing a new subscriber have stopped working. The button has not text and the page hangs on /newsletter after entering an email address and clicking the button.
how do I go back to the previous version?
Goto the subscription form panel and configure the labels.
I’m having the same problem @William Delaforce, but I recovered the backup. I can not send any email after the upgrade. Sending emails and he comes back the same page without any process.
New version has a safest sending engine. See the newsletter faq to know if your blog has problem with wordpress cron system.
The email sending status is displayed on email list panel.
i have upgraded too for some minutes.

I had the same problem like others, I downloaded the older version (1.5.9) of newsletter and I copy the folder to the plugins folder, after that I activated the plugin, that solved my problem.

CUSTOMIZE THE WIDGET. I must be completely blind, but I really can’t see where I can customize the widget’s look. I don’t want to use the sidebar styling. The documentation says you can change the HTML, and gives you some extra field names. Can’t find anything settings either apart from the subscription page text.
Where do I change the HTML for the widget?
Follow the user guide and create a custom html form for your widget.

I have a problem concerning sending mails. The subscription mail and the email of the newsletter itself are not being sended. All the settings are correct and I don’t know what to do. Hosting ist goneo.de. They have restricted email sending settings but emails from other plugins work …

I’ve just had to move my website to a different host, and I’m trying to work out how to move my existing subscribers list. I’ve downloaded the .csv file from the export/import section of the newsleter menu on the dashboard, but how do I then upload this to the new server?

Prima di tutto complimenti per il plugin, è quello più semplice da utilizzare!
Però ho diversi problemi.
1] Quando un utente si registra (single-opt) non viene spedito il messaggio di benvenuto
2] Quando scrivo la newsletter e poi la spedisco questa non viene inviata a nessun subscriber
L’smtp l’ho configurato, infatti se vado sulla lista degli utenti e clicco “resend welcome” funziona, come funziona anche il test nella pagina dei settings…
Dove può essere il problema?

Does anyone know if there is a restriction on the number of subscribers in the lite version of the plugin?
My problem is I am importing subscribers, a total of 4500, but upon reaching 1500 (or so) are no longer stored in the database and the subscribers page is completely blank.
Does anyone else have this problem?

ups, sorry, had not fully read the feature list for version 2.5.
There are no restrictions on the number of subscribers and number of emails sent.
So, do not know what the problem might be in the import process.

I have a problem with Newsletter.. Everything is fine, except Welcome mail. When I activated my subscription to my blog through the activation e-mail that is sent to my e-mail address, the system has sent 4 welcome e-mails at the same time.
I couldn’t find anything related to this problem, I need help.

My confirmation emails take waaaaay too long to arrive in my mailbox (30-60 minutes). What could be causing this? What can I do about it?

Hi, I got 2 problems.
1. In first list of my subscribers I got 149 users. When I go to e-mails and see last send: 164/148. Why? The newsletter should be sent only to 164 users.
2. Other problem is with second list of my subscribers. I got 49 subcribers. When I go to email i see that newsletter was not sent. 0/49. When I open it I can only “abort” or “Save” and “Save and test”

Probably it’s the smtp plugin that is rewriting the sender…

Can you please stop updating the plugin everyday? it’s annoying and everytime I update it. it messes up my custom css so PLEASE STOP! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE PLUGIN!
First I’m not updating the plugin daily and second, there is no need to update if the plugin works for you.
But, more important, what CSS the update is breaking? You are not changing the plugin files, right? CSS must be customized in your theme or in newsletter main configuration under styling… if it’s only a matter of CSS changes…

I am using the free version of Newsletter and testing on my dummy site for now.
I realize that when a user unsubscribe from my newsletter, i can still see his status as confirmed if I search for ‘any status’ on tag Subscribers and this is a bit confusing if i ll have many subscribers.
Is this a bug ?

I have Newsletter Pro and I would like to know 3 things:
- How do I change the language to Spanish? The plugin is shown in English in my admin area.
- What is the goal of the lists? Is it possible to move the selected subscribers between lists? I need something to sort subscribers (i.e. category 1, category 2, etc.) to send different newsletters.
- I have made a template in html+css that I would like to use in Newsletter Pro. Is there any way and tutorial to import this html templates to the plugin?

But now i need to display a message on successful subscription of newsletter,since i can’t see any success message on successful subscription,but still mail is received in the corresponding email address.all i need is to show some message on site itself on success.

I want to ask how to change permissions, so that authors can send emails?
Is there any reason that the plug in would NOT send an email to all @cox.net users? It sends to all other domains and users but it will not send anything to my rparedes2@cox.net or to anyone else with that same domain? Cox.net has NO bounce backs or errors, the one that host my account has NO errors either. Makes no sense to me why just this account? It is not blacklisted either, and it was working a few weeks ago and all i did was add uber-menu plugin.

The plugin of course does not filter the cox.net domain, open a ticket with your provider.

yes the free version works with php mail. you can use an smtp plugin to bypass the php mail limit of your provider OR, IMHO, change the provider.

Hi, the plugin is not sending newsletters to suscribers with new posts but I receive the test mails propperly. As far as I know, I configured everything as say in the User Guide.
Delivery engine next run: 230 seconds

I wrote 3 posts the last two days and subscribers didn’t get them in their emails.

Hi Stefano, I foun that I need to activate the SMTP on main configuration panel and set the host to relay-hosting.secureserver.net if I have a GoDaddy hosting. The problem is that option doesn’t exist in main configuration panel. So I have no idea where I need to set the SMTP service and my subscribers are not receiving any email since I installed this plugin.
Please, any advice will be truly appreciated.

This is a well known problem of godaddy, you can use an smtp plugin.
Hello, I made a mistake, when I wrote my question und the replybutton ….
The Plugin vers. 1.5.6, witch I really like very much, doesn’t send the Emails correctly any more. When I sign in with new members it works – they get the newsletter, but all the 325 old adresses SEEM to get a newletter – its said “ok” after every adress – but they don’t get it.
Does anybody know this problem and the solution???

Hello, I would like to add a new Style in the visual editor. I know, that if you want to do that in the tinymce in the backend of wp you have to add the style in a special css file for the tinymce.
Where have I to add the new style in the newslettermodule?

Please advise what I am doing wrong. I was using Newsletter plugun (version 1.2) with WordPress 2.8 and it worked great. Recently I upgraded to WordPress 3.1.4 and Newsletter plugin to 2.5.1.5 Great new features- thank you for your hardwork. But I can’t send emails now. Test emails were delivered successfully. Following user manual I checked cron system & it’s working. Checked with provider for email limit -> 200. Set limit to 100 in configuration screen. But nothing changed. I am not using lists.When I send email to subscribers it shows the status of ‘sent 0/239′ and newsletter is not being sent. Please help. Thank you.
I got the plugin working, but have one issue: Upon filling out the subscribe form, one is next taken to a “thank you” page letting one know to expect a confirmation email. Is there any way this can be set up to open a new window, rather than staying in the parent window where closing it can lose the website?

I can specific on the newsletter widget if the newsletter subscriber is male or female. so i used for that a Mr and Mrs. for a polite Email like Hello Mr. Surname when they get the email. How can i make the Gender Specification into the Subscription Process ? {sex} dont work. So is there another way for it ?
