And there’s no text in the popup window. Pls tell me what’s gone wrong?

Hello, there is something strange happening with the way the email composer behaves after I upgraded from 1.5.x to 2+ . It seems I can send test emails. But once I change the newsletter theme to anything other than “Empty mail”, any button in the composer interface leads to a 404 error, getting redirected to the WP installation URL (not the blog URL). Literally any button – from “Save”, through “Send”, to “Change theme” stops working. I tried copying the HTML code from another theme, and pasting it in the HTML window of the blank theme, but still I could not send the newsletter. It seems there is a theme-dependent issue, but I cannot imagine what. I don’t get JS errors or anything.
The only thing I can think of is that my blog URL and the WP installation URLs are different, if this may cause any trouble here.

I have installed Newsletter in a WordPress installation on Host Monster (another brand from Bluehost).
Anything seems to work as expected except using a personalized Return address (tried to use “info@mydomain.tld”). I cannot get to send the test messages and some test newsletters using an email address different to “mydomain@hostxxx.hostmonster.com”.
I have tried to create a “config.php” file but no result. I have also modify “class-phpmailer.php” in “wp-includes” in my WordPress installation folder, but no results too.
Any idea? Thanks in advance.
I’ve had a disaster! Since upgrading to the new version the newsletter stopped working. I have the newsletter on a clients website, I’ve tried everything in the FAQ with no success. Ulitimately I’ve had to backup, uninstall and re-install the older version, but the back-up only gave me a list of HALF the subscribers. The client is really angry, and I’m really frustrated and out of pocket.
Hello, I have a problem with displaying Croatian (east european latinic) letters.
They are displayed correctly within the text I edited on the subscription page, but not in the names generated with the {name} tag.
So instead of “č”, “ć”, “š”, “ž”, “đ” i get “?”
Can you tell me where to adjust the character encoding?

500 Internal Server Error
The page cannot be displayed.

Hi and thanks firstoff for the great plugin!
I’m wondering if it’s possible to edit/restyle the ‘Manage Subscriptions’ form page which is linked (along with ‘Unsubscribe’) at the bottom of my Newsletter? I can’t seem to find anthing about that item in the admin.

I have been using the Newsletter plugin for a while. But of recent I updated the plugin and now i get a ‘You do not have sufficient permission…’ when I access the plugin. What do I do?
Ciao ragazzi, premetto che lo stesso vostro problema l’ho riscontrato solo in alcuni server (Aruba ad esempio).
Ho eliminato il plugin e reinstallato la versione vecchia e tutto funziona a meraviglia!

Hi: great plugin! Am I able to see a list of my subscribers. It only gives me the option to confirm all or delete all confirmed. Is there a way of seeing who I am confirming? (their name and email?). Thanks very much again for the great plug-in.
When you search the subscriber, on eacxh of them there is a specific button to change his status.
Hello. How can i include custom post type posts in emails? i want to use the All in One Event calendar and the post type created is called “ai1ec_event”.
Where i must add this to make my newslleters include posts created by this plugin?
You should change the theme and the parameters used to extract the posts. See the codex:

and search for post_type

I’ve installed the plugin, created a theme… everything seems to be working, except that when I create a new email, and SAVE or SAVE AND TEST, the page refresh and the email is empty again…
It doesn’t send anything and instead of saving it justs starts from scratch…
I’ve been looking around for an answer but didn’t find anything yet.
If you have an idea of what’s wrong, that would be great!!
(Previous version of the plugin was working fine).
I deactivated and reactivated the plugin and it works!
It wasn’t a manual install so I didn’t think I needed to do it, but it solved the problem if it can help somebody else.
