Newsletter Version 1.4.1 and 1.4.2

Ok, I waited so long time before release this Newsletter version for two reason. The first one is time. I hoped to have more spare time to work on Newsletter plugin on 2010, but not, I don’t have enough time to do all modifications and checks I would. Second, I made so many changes I felt a little bit of fear to make this release public. Database has changed, configuration has changed, composer has changed…

And I have no time to write a decent documentation. So use it as is but do not press the “simulate button” without reading the notes below.

Simulation. Simulation is now a real email sending test but all emails are sent to the same test email address. This is the only effective way I found to really test a system. To many hosting providers with too many odd configuration.

Back up you database or your subscriber list before update.

You MUST deactivate the plugin before update it and then reactivate it.

Last minute fix: update to 1.4.2 for a small fix.
